History
Compact Labelling Systems is a privately held company, established in 1978 in Sydney Australia to manufacture high performance Pressure Sensitive (Self-Adhesive) Label Application Equipment. Since then Compact have successfully sold machines worldwide with a product range that extends from, Hand Operated Devices, Labelling Heads, Semi-Automatics, or Labeller styles such as MINI-Wrap & MINI Top, Top, Wrap / Orientation, Wrap, High-Speed Zero-Down-Time Wrap, Front & Back, Zero-Down-Time Front & Back, Combination, Tube, Rotary or Purpose Built designs.
Compact Labeling Systems has always been at the forefront of technology and innovation in Self-Adhesive Label Application in Australia. In 1985 Compact developed and introduced Australia's first Microprocessor Controlled Self-Adhesive Label Applicator.
It's successor was another milestone in Compacts' development, it was received enthusiastically in 1995 by new and existing users of Compact Labelling Equipment World-Wide. As a consequence of this tremendous success Compact Labelling Systems has emerged as both a manufacturer of complete Self-Adhesive Labelling Equipment and sophisticated Labelling System Controllers. This has provided Compact with the opportunity of supplying these components to OEM's to be fitted to their materials handling equipment in other parts of the world.
The Compact controller and peripheral products are fully designed and developed at their Head Office in Sydney. Generation 3 introduced in 1998 offered a speed of label application not seen before in Australia and with an on going commitment to quality and improvement, Compact sets out to make every customer the beneficiary of Compact's tireless efforts.
Once again Compact leads the way; Generation 4 was launched in October 2003, a new control panel which customers have found to be even easier to use because of its mobile phone layout, and windows terminology menus.
