When Oilpack Australia was engaged to bottle the high quality range of ‘njoi’ and ‘Red Island’ extra virgin olive oil for EVOO Australia Pty Ltd (a subsidiary of Piquant Blue Ltd, Australia’s leading public listed olive oil marketing Company), they considered it extremely important to have a high quality presentation. Investigating the machinery required for such a product led them to talk to the leading producers of label applicators in Australia.

Mike Konowalous, Managing Director of Oilpack Australia said; "To produce a successful, quality product like njoi and Red Island extra virgin olive oil, you must first have an excellent product. It then requires hard work and a strong belief in your product. It is with this conviction that in 2003 the range of njoi Olive Oil won a number of Australian and international awards and widespread critical acclaim. It was this same belief in their product and the quality of the machinery that we saw in Compact Labelling Systems. After talking to existing users and to Compact themselves we decided that the Compact Combination Front/Back/Wrap (FBxx) was the machine that best suited our needs."

The njoi Olive Oil is produced in a tall 500ml round glass bottle with a two piece vinyl label with the bottom label having a 40% overlap. The Red Island Olive Oil is produced in a square bottle, with vinyl labels, the back label a tall thin label applied to one side of the bottle, the front label is applied to the front and extends down the sides by 25%. Both bottles can be labelled on the Compact Combination Front/Back/Wrap (FBxx). Compact can provide automatic or semi-automatic machines to apply labels to either of the above bottle styles.
